Temporary Measure for “Travel Assistance Abroad” Insurance

In light of the complicated situation in the Middle East, Axiom Insurance Company is introducing a temporary measure in support of clients holding “Travel Assistance Abroad” insurance.

In cases where, at the policy expiry date, the insured person is located in an area affected by military actions and is unable to return to Bulgaria due to circumstances beyond their control (including cancelled flights, closed airspace, or other extraordinary situations), the insurance coverage period will be automatically extended without additional premium. Coverage will remain valid until the insured person is able to return.

Important:

  • No policy endorsement or additional confirmation from the client is required – the extension is applied automatically.
  • The terms, limits, and exclusions of the policy remain unchanged as of the original date of conclusion.
  • This measure does not constitute an extension of coverage and does not include additional risks related to military actions.
  • It applies only to persons who are already in the affected region at the time of policy expiry.
  • Standard product terms and conditions apply to newly concluded policies.

If assistance is required, clients should contact the Assistance Company in accordance with the established procedure.

What should I do if I need urgent medical care and/or emergency treatment outside of working hours?

During non-working hours, you can visit a chosen by you medical facility for urgent or emergency medical care. Please, gather all medical and financial documents for the health care goods and services used. Expenses shall be reimbursed under the terms of your Insurance.

What are the Home Insurance Property Coverages?

A standard policy usually provides coverage against major risks as fire, natural disasters, floods, storms, hail. Additionally, upon your request, coverage against risks such as earthquake, theft, malicious acts of third parties and etc. may be included.

When and how will the Insurer pay me?

Within 15 days after receiving all the evidence, the Insurer must either pay or refuse, stating the reason for the refusal. This term applies to all insurances offered.

I ‘m covered under health insurance plan. I have to be hospitalized for treatment. Do I need to inform you in advance?

In case you are going to be hospitalized, you do not need to get confirmation from the Insurer. If you need assistance, we are ready to help you in the coordination with the chosen by you medical facility on 0700 400 99 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on working days.

What type of buildings can be insured under Home Property Insurance?

Apartments, houses, other buildings and structures of a special type such as garages, barns, fences, etc. may be insured.
